Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc. (CCLSWA)

is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which provides legal advice and representation to consumers in WA in the areas of credit, banking and finance. CCLSWA also takes an active role in community legal education, law reform and policy issues affecting consumers.

The organisation is funded by the Commonwealth and Western Australian governments through the Community Legal Services Program to provide free legal advice to the Western Australian public, including those residing in rural and remote regions.

This is the National Sexual Assault, Domestic and Family Violence Counselling Service. Anyone can call 24/7 for support. The website has loads of useful information including an excellent resource library for professionals.

This is a free service for people who want respondents to FVRO applications their criminal and traffic records, any police orders made and any police incident reports relating to the FVRO application – click on the link below for the application form.

Office of the eSafety Commissioner

This is a national online portal to receive complaints and provide information and assistance in regards to the non-consensual sharing of intimate images or the threat of non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

People who have experienced image based abuse can make a report online to the eSafety Office and the Office can then work with social media providers, websites and search engines to assist with the removal of images.

Women’s Services Network (WESNET)

Is a national women’s peak advocacy body which works on behalf of women and children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic or family violence.

WESNET also operates a Tech Safety website with resources and info.
